The Ministry of Communications (MoC) of Israel has recently revised the list of products exempt from mandatory MoC type approval. The updated list includes the following exempted product categories:

1. Products operating within the 2400 to 2483.5 MHz frequency band in Bluetooth technology (IEEE 802.15.1 standard) or ANT / ANT + technology, with a built-in antenna and power not exceeding 100 mW EIRP.

2. Products designed solely for receiving satellite positioning transmissions from systems like GALILEO, GLONASS, GPS, or BEIDOU.

3. Parabolic antennas not exceeding 244 cm in diameter, along with their ancillary equipment, intended for satellite transmission reception.

4. Products operating within infrared frequencies between 1 THz and 3 THz, with a transmission power not exceeding 200 mW.

5. Computer peripherals (e.g., mouse, keyboard).

6. Computer monitors.

7. Video streamers (Streamer) compliant with European Directive Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU and marked with the CE symbol.

8. E-book readers.

9. Tablets.

10. Laptops or notebook computers.

11. Desktop computers.

12. TV receiver set-top boxes meeting the provisions of European Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU and marked with the CE symbol.

13. TV sets, tuners, and TV remotes.

14. Radio receivers for AM/DAB/FM public broadcasts.

15. Spare parts for mobile phones, cellular routers, cellular tablets, and cellular wristwatches.

16. Wristwatches (excluding cellular wristwatches).

17. Vacuum cleaners.

18. Cameras (excluding security cameras and baby monitors).

19. Digital scales.

This update aims to streamline regulatory processes while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and directives.
