The Superintendencia General de Electricidad y Telecomunicaciones (SIGET) in El Salvador issued Resolución No. T-0408-2023 on July 9, 2023, updating the Cuadro Nacional de Atribución de Frecuencias (CNAF) to allocate the 6 GHz frequency band (5925–7125 MHz) for unlicensed use when employed for Wi-Fi applications by low-power devices indoors.
