The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong published an updated Spectrum Release Plan (SRP) for 2023–2025 on July 18, 2023. The revised SRP details frequency bands that will be reassigned for mobile services upon expiration of current assignments, as well as new spectrum to be allocated for mobile and mobile/wireless fixed services. The 6570–6770 MHz and 6910–7125 MHz bands are included in the new spectrum designated for mobile service provision.
