The Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL) in Brazil published Resolução N° 780 on August 1, 2025, providing clarifications on the certification process for telecommunications products. This Resolution complements Resolução N° 715, ANATEL’s main certification regulation, and covers marketplace obligations, liabilities, general rules for ANATEL label use, and adherence to the Consumer Protection Code. It also confirms that data centers forming part of telecommunications networks require mandatory ANATEL approval.
