The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) issued a notice on June 1, 2024, stating that the Class Assignment for Fixed-Satellite Service Earth Stations and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Communication Devices operating in the 3400–3700 MHz frequency band will be cancelled effective June 1, 2025. From that date, such equipment and devices will no longer be eligible for approval or use in Malaysia.
