The India Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) announced on September 19, 2024, an amendment to Clause 5.4 of the Testing & Certification Procedure v3.0 (TEC 93009:2024) under MTCTE. The update clarifies that combinations of independent equipment forming systems will not be certified together; instead, each independent equipment must be certified separately. Additionally, the amendment references item (I) of Table A.2 in Annexure A regarding spare cards or chassis.
