The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced on September 24, 2024, that the WLAN Framework 2024 has been officially published. The Framework:
- Designates unlicensed frequency bands for WLAN use, including 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz.
- Follows PTA’s earlier announcement of the 6 GHz frequency band allocation for unlicensed RLAN use in Pakistan.
