The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of India announced that applications from Chinese-based factories are currently on hold for approval by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for NOC release. Certification grants will be issued once MeitY provides BIS with confirmation to proceed. Approve-IT will continue monitoring the situation and share updates as they become available.
