Macao Post and Telecommunications (CTT) issued Law No. 21/2024 on November 11, 2024. Under this Law, Low-Power Devices (LPDs) and Short-Range Devices (SRDs) operating on mobile networks—such as mobile phones, tablets, or other SIM card-based devices—are exempt from type approval. The Law took effect on January 1, 2025.
