Due to budget cuts at the Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) in Mexico, several staff members have been laid off. As a result, type approval delays are anticipated in the coming months while the agency adjusts and awaits the transition of homologation procedures to the new Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones (ATDT).
