The Republic of Moldova has amended legislation on product conformity assessment in light of negotiations for EU accession. The changes allow Moldova to recognize conformity assessment results from EU notified bodies under the RED directive for products with a CE mark, without requiring additional local type approval or certification. Approve-IT will continue offering voluntary approval services for manufacturers who prefer a formal declaration from a local certification body.
