The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) conducted a raid on July 2, 2025, targeting an unauthorized VoIP business, and seized illegal SIM boxes, SIM cards, and VoIP routers. BTRC continues to run campaigns to prevent the sale of unauthorized VoIP equipment, and legal action will be pursued against illegal purchase and sale of such devices.
