The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) of India issued a notification on June 30, 2023, requesting the release of shipments of items covered under the E-Waste (Management) Rules 2022. Producers who submitted an undertaking and acknowledgement on the CPCB Extended Producers Responsibility (EPR) Portal on or before June 30, 2023, may have their imported items released under an interim arrangement until August 31, 2023.
