L’Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications et des Postes (ARTP) of Senegal conducted a call for tenders to select an operator capable of providing 5G infrastructure efficiently and reliably. ARTP has provisionally awarded a 5G license to Sonatel (Orange Senegal) and will soon begin preparations for 5G network deployment in Senegal.
