The Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL) published Ato No. 2105 on February 14, 2025, updating the technical requirements for certifying cellular devices, including Access Terminal Stations (ETA) and Mobile Phones. This Act introduces test requirements for devices supporting technologies such as 5G NB-NTN (Narrow Band Non-Terrestrial Networks), 5G RedCap (Reduced Capability), and 4G LTE Cat 1bis.
