The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) in Japan initiated public consultations on August 23, 2025, including:
- A call for opinions on the Land Radio Communications Committee draft report covering “Technical requirements for 800 MHz wideband low-power radio systems” under the section “Technical requirements necessary for the advancement of low-power radio systems” and “Technical requirements for 3D positioning systems” under “Technical requirements for the advancement of commercial land radio communications.”
- A request for comments on the draft report of the Land Radio Communications Committee regarding “Technical conditions for space-transmission type wireless power transmission systems,” specifically “Technical conditions for outdoor use of 920 MHz band space-transmission type wireless power transmission systems.”
