The Regulatory Authority (RA) of Bermuda has issued a notice reminding importers of electronic communications network equipment or devices using RF that these products must obtain type approval from the RA before being imported, marketed, sold, or operated in Bermuda. Devices are required to comply with FCC, ISED, or ETSI standards, and corresponding test reports may be used to support the RA type approval process.
Failure to meet these requirements may lead to fines, penalties, or destruction of non-compliant equipment. The RA advises importers to review their current and upcoming device portfolios to ensure full compliance
