The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) has announced that it will cease operations on October 17, 2025. The transition to the Comisión Reguladora en Telecomunicaciones (CRT) is expected to take at least one week while feedback on new and existing approvals is processed. Delays in type approval may occur during this period.
