Peru’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) announced on November 15, 2025, the approval of a technological innovation project known as Direct-to-Cell (D2C) Connectivity.
The initiative positions Peru as the first country in South America to approve a D2C project under a flexible regulatory framework.
