The recent FCC and Telecommunications Certification Body (TCB) conference call focused on the newly issued public notice and fact sheet addressing updates to the Covered List (DA 25-1086). During the discussion, the FCC clarified the scope of critical components, which include data transmission devices, communications systems, flight controllers, ground control stations and UAS controllers, navigation systems, sensors and cameras, batteries and battery management systems, and motors.
In addition, the FCC announced several immediate actions. Grantee codes 2AGNT (Autel Robotics Co., Ltd.), 2ANDR (SZ DJI Osmo Technology Co., Ltd.), and SS3 (SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd.) have been deferred. Grants submitted under these codes between November 23 and December 8 have been set aside, with further submissions to continue being placed on hold in the coming days. Going forward, TCBs will carry out enhanced due diligence in line with FCC guidance.
