The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has announced an extension to the implementation date of IS 302 (Part 1):2024 / IEC 60335-1:2020 for adapters used with household and similar electrical appliances. Under the revised timeline, the standard will now take effect on February 23, 2027.
