The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has announced an extension to the implementation date of the revised IS 18112 ‘Digital Television Receiver for Satellite Broadcast Transmission Specification’. Following the earlier publication of implementation guidelines on September 23, 2025, BIS confirmed through a notification issued on January 30, 2026, that the new implementation date has been moved to July 26, 2026.
