On January 6, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of Vietnam announced Decision 2125/QĐ-BTTTT, issued on November 21, 2022, which entails adjustments to the HS Codes of certain products listed under the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and Declaration of Conformity (DoC). The revised HS Codes pertain to items such as:
- Mobile phones
- LPWAN devices
- Lithium batteries (for laptops, mobile phones, and tablets)
- Terrestrial Mobile Radio Equipment with integral/removable antenna for analog voice and data
- Radio transceivers utilizing spread spectrum modulation within the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band, with equivalent isotropic radiated power of 60 mW or higher (specifically for UAV/Flycams, with Wi-Fi devices maintaining their existing HS Code)
