The Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) has published Resolución 57-2026, updating Argentina’s RAMATEL equipment approval framework. The update introduces a third-party product certification model, under which recognized Certification Bodies will issue Certificates of Conformity (CoCs) for RAMATEL registration. A transition period will remain in place until August 31, 2026, after which the new framework will take effect on September 1, 2026, requiring approvals to follow the third-party certification route for technical conformity assessment.
