The Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL) in Brazil opened a public consultation on May 29, 2024, to update certification requirements for Access Points operating in the 5925–7125 MHz frequency band. The consultation proposes reducing the allowed frequency range for Access Points from 5925–7125 MHz to 5925–6425 MHz, requiring already approved products to adjust their frequency bands to comply with the new standard.
