The Cybersecurity Marco Law project has recently passed the Senate and is currently under review by the Government, Decentralization and Regionalization Commission, and the Finance Commission. This initiative aims to establish foundational guidelines and mechanisms for organizing, regulating, and coordinating cybersecurity efforts across government agencies and between them and individuals.
As of now, this law does not impact conformity assessment procedures, nor does it introduce additional cybersecurity requirements for equipment to be sold in the country.
