The Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) of China released the following:
- Resolution on Mobile Power Supplies (0914): Published on November 26, 2024, this Resolution defines mobile power supplies as portable power sources containing lithium-ion batteries and/or battery packs that provide power to electronic and electrical devices. CNCA clarified that if a manufacturer does not specify the intended scope of use for a product with universal output interfaces, it will be considered to have the function of a “mobile power supply.”
Implementation Rules for Electric Vehicle Power Supply Equipment: Issued on December 12, 2024, these Rules introduce compulsory product certification management for electric vehicle power supply equipment, effective from March 1, 2025.
