The Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (SUTEL) of Costa Rica published Resolución RCS-216-2024 on November 22, 2024, updating the approval procedure for mobile telecommunications terminals. The Resolution introduces new testing protocols for 5G devices and VoLTE, while keeping the existing protocols for 2G, 3G, and 4G unchanged.
