The Eswatini Communications Commission (ESCCOM) has issued Notice 10/2024: Guidelines on the Use of Licence Exempt Spectrum Bands, 2024. These Guidelines are designed to support emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and Short-Range Devices (SRDs) and apply to all licensed spectrum users as well as devices operating in license-exempt bands. Under the Guidelines, all devices are required to obtain type approval from ESCCOM.
