The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) published the Harmonized European Standard ETSI EN 301 893 V2.2.1 on November 25, 2024, concerning access to radio spectrum for 5 GHz WAS/RLAN. The Standard covers Wireless Access Systems (WAS) used in wireless local area networks and devices that communicate directly through ad-hoc networking.
