The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued a notification outlining compliance requirements for enabling the 5925–6425 MHz band under the revised regulatory framework. The notice informs stakeholders holding valid ETA certificates for devices currently certified only for operation in the 2.4–2.4835 GHz and/or 5 GHz bands of the mandatory steps required to enable the 5925–6425 MHz band, which must be completed by April 5, 2026. The band must not be enabled, activated, or used unless a new ETA certificate authorizing its use has been granted.
