India’s Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) has issued a notification dated December 29, 2025, confirming an extension in the acceptance of ILAC test reports for MTCTE compliance. Under the notification, ILAC test reports from non–border sharing countries will be accepted until June 30, 2026, for technical parameters.
The accepted test reports must be no older than two years from the date of submission to the MTCTE portal and apply to the following products: Base Stations for cellular networks, SIMs, VHF/UHF radio equipment systems, and E-band fixed radio relay systems.
