On August 25, 2023, the National Center for Communication Security (NCCS) of India issued a notification introducing the Voluntary Security Certification (VSC) for IP Routers and Wi-Fi CPE. Effective from September 1, 2023, this certification program aims to enhance security measures. Until December 31, 2023, or until further notice, the Administrative Fee and Security Test Report Evaluation Fee will be waived.
