From December 1, 2023, only local test reports issued by SDPPI Labs in Indonesia will be accepted for new applications, renewals, and re-certifications. A 2-year grace period will allow transition to the new SAR regulation. During this period, applicants may submit a previously accepted test report for new certificates, renewals, and re-certifications, but must also provide a statement that the product will be tested for SAR at an SDPPI Lab. SDPPI will issue the certificate, and applicants will have up to 2 weeks after issuance to submit the SAR test report. Certificates will be cancelled if the test report is not provided within the timeframe or if the test results fail.
