Israel’s Ministry of Communications (MoC) has recently revised its list of products exempt from mandatory MoC type approval. The updated list includes:

  • Products operating within the frequency band of 2400 to 2483.5 MHz in Bluetooth technology or in ANT / ANT + technology, with a built-in antenna and power not exceeding 100 mW EIRP.
  • Products solely designed for receiving satellite positioning transmissions using systems like GALILEO, GLONASS, GPS, or BEIDOU.
  • Products featuring a parabolic antenna of up to 244 cm in diameter for satellite transmission reception, including associated equipment.
  • Products operating within infrared frequencies between 1 THz and 3 THz, with transmission power not exceeding 200 mW.
  • Computer peripherals (mouse, keyboard).
  • Computer monitors.
  • Video streamers (Streamer) compliant with European Directive Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU bearing the CE marking.
  • E-book readers.
  • Tablets.
  • Laptops or notebook computers.
  • Desktop computers.
  • Converters for TV broadcasts (TV receiver set-top box) meeting European Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU requirements with CE marking.
  • TV sets, tuners, and TV remotes.
  • Radio receivers for AM/DAB/FM public broadcasts.
  • Spare parts for mobile phones, cellular routers, cellular tablets, and cellular wristwatches.
  • Wristwatches, excluding cellular wristwatches.
  • Vacuum cleaners.
  • Cameras, excluding security cameras and baby monitors.
  • Digital scales.
