The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) in Japan has launched a public consultation on a partial revision of the Ordinance for Radio Equipment. The revision covers the development of a system permitting the use of European and US standard test data and a review of technical standards and test methods for 2.4 GHz band wireless LAN.
