The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) launched a public consultation on October 25, 2024, regarding the implementation of Type Approval Labelling. The consultation aims to enhance product safety and compliance for manufacturers and consumers, while clarifying the approval process.
The consultation will be open for comments until November 15, 2024 (21 days from the consultation date), and new pricing for the Type Approval Labelling process will take effect on December 1, 2024.
