The Comisión Reguladora de Telecomunicaciones (CRT) of Mexico released an Agreement on October 28, 2025, establishing Guidelines for conducting public consultations. These Guidelines define the procedures, requirements, and timelines for CRT administrative units when initiating consultations, as well as rules for publication, exemptions, and inclusion in the Commission’s Annual Calendar of Public Consultations. Public feedback will be collected through a dedicated platform, though additional channels may be specified in the Call for Proposals. All submitted contributions will be publicly available unless classified as restricted information. The Agreement takes effect on October 29, 2025, with implementation to be completed within 60 business days, and the Annual Calendar of Public Consultations published within 30 business days of its entry into force.
