The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) in Mexico has launched its online registration portal, Ventanilla Electrónica. Local certificate holders are required to register through this portal. Approve-IT advises that companies complete the online registration promptly to prevent delays, as email applications will soon no longer be accepted.
Registration requires the following information:
- Company Tax ID (RFC)
- Company fiscal address
- Digital Constitutive Act of the company and Power of Attorney naming the Legal Representative and specifying their authority
- Legal Representative Tax ID (RFC)
- Legal Representative electronic signature issued by SAT
