The Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFETEL) of Mexico published guidelines on November 29, 2023, for Mobile Service Providers regarding the unlocking of Mobile Terminal Equipment. IFETEL clarified the reporting system that Mobile Service Providers must follow under these guidelines on March 4, 2024.
