The Agence Nationale de Réglementation des Télecommunications (ANRT) of Morocco announced on July 22, 2025, the awarding of licenses for the establishment and operation of public telecommunications networks using 5th Generation Mobile Technologies, following a prior Call for Competition. ANRT will retain the 700 MHz and 3 GHz (3400–3800 MHz) bands for 5G deployment.
