Nicaragua published Ley No. 1223 – Ley General de Telecomunicaciones Convergentes on November 6, 2024. Under Article 62 of the Law, manufacturers, importers, distributors, and marketers must add a special marking to approved equipment and devices to indicate compliance with national regulations. Approve-IT expects this labeling requirement to take effect in 2025 and will provide updates accordingly.
