The National Communications Commission (NCC) has launched a public consultation, starting December 19, 2023, to revise the Technical Specifications for Low Power Radio Frequency Equipment. The proposed changes intend to make the 5.945–6.425 GHz (6 GHz) frequency band available for low-power wireless information transmission devices (U-NII).
