In alignment with URCA’s 2022 Annual Plan outlined in URCA Annual Report 2021 and Annual Plan 2022 URCA 03/2022 (“2022 Annual Plan”), URCA has recently concluded a comprehensive public engagement initiative. The goal was to gauge the demand for improved internet connectivity, particularly 5G services, within The Bahamas. Additionally, the exercise aimed to identify existing gaps and technological limitations hindering the fulfillment of such demands.
URCA extends an invitation for responses to this Consultation Document from all stakeholders and interested parties. It’s important to note that responses must be submitted to URCA by 5 p.m. on Monday, 5 June 2023.
