The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the USA published a Proposed Rule on June 13, 2025, aiming to modernize spectrum sharing between Geostationary (GSO) and Non-Geostationary (NGSO) satellite systems. This applies to the 10.7–12.7 GHz, 17.3–18.6 GHz, and 19.7–20.2 GHz bands, where equivalent power-flux density (EPFD) limits are enforced.
