The Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of Vietnam has updated type approval certification requirements. Moving forward, type approval certificates will include complete details of the Manufacturer and Factory (OEM) information. If multiple factories are involved, each must obtain its own type approval certificate and provide a sample unit. For factories not owned by the manufacturer, additional documentation and a potential virtual factory inspection will be required.
